Zara to open its first store in Cebu

Zara brings its popular ready-to-wear fashion from Spain to Cebu in a store that emphasizes simplicity.

MANILA, Philippines - Zara, the popular Spanish brand distributed in the Philippines by Stores Specialists Inc. (SSI), will open its first store in Cebu at Ayala Center Cebu Expansion on March 14. With its 2,113-square-meter space, the store will display women’s, men’s and kids’ spring summer 2014 collections on its opening.

The new store showcases the latest brand image based on beauty, clarity, functionality and sustainability. The store’s design will emphasize simplicity as part of its ongoing mission to facilitate direct contact with customers, making shopping simple. New concepts of materials and color combination will lighten up the new interior, distilling the brand’s latest image, and highlighting the importance of customers’ direct contact with Zara’s products in an interference-free and beautiful environment.

Zara has a network of 1,752 stores in upscale locations in the world’s largest cities, including Manila. Its international footprint proves that national borders are no hindrance to a shared fashion culture.

Zara is owned by the Inditex Group, one of the largest fashion retailers in the world. In the Philippines, Zara is exclusively distributed by International Specialty Concepts Inc. (ISCI), a subsidiary of SSI and is located at Greenbelt 5, Glorietta 3, Power Plant Mall, Shangri-La Plaza Mall, SM Mall of Asia and TriNoma.
