MANILA, Philippines - “Sentimentos Filipinos and Traces of Sadness”, a solo exhibit by Mexican Ambassador Tomas Javier Calvillo Unna features over a hundred paintings in oil and acrylic, as well as a few poems from the book he has written in the Philippines entitled “Filipinas Textos Cercanos”. These paintings have a work for more than two years. The show features works based on texture and colours that express feelings and knowledge of the contemporary world. Present during the opening were members of the Diplomatic Corps, the Mexican Community and art enthusiasts at Yuchengco Museum.
