Gallery News: Isabel Santos and Ian Jaucian at Silverlens

“Untitled” by Isabel Santos

MANILA, Philippines - Isabel Santos and Ian Jaucian conduct a survey of imagined futures in “In the Year 2000,” on view at Silverlens, second floor, YMC Bldg. 2, 2320 Don Chino Roces Ave. Ext., Makati City. The show runs until March 21.

Speaking from a non-specific point in the past, their paintings and Jaucian’s robot create a different version of the “future” — in this case, the year 2000 — one that suggests our inescapable demise.
