MANILA, Philippines - Four stalwarts of Philippine Modernism — Pandy Aviado, Hermisanto, Raul Lebajo and Roy Veneracion — create new and stirring works that probe, provoke visually, and mentally challenge preconceived expectations about their art in “4 Kantos” which opens on Aug. 31 at Gateway Mall, Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City. The show runs until Sept. 20.
The masters of contemporary art have consistently been active in the local and international art scene for almost four decades — from the late 1960s and early 1970s to the present.
The exhibit is presented by Sining Kamalig.
