Manila’s biggest food enthusiasts flocked to Ermita, Manila for the much-awaited opening of Mabini’s Kainan Kapihan Tindahan (Mabini’s KKT).

Imbued with the nationalism of Apolinario Mabini, the nostalgia of the Ermita district, and Tesoros’ trademark commitment to Filipino craftsmanship, the restaurant boasts well-loved Pinoy dishes reinterpreted by its skilled and creative team of food innovators in an atmosphere seasoned with innate hospitality and attentiveness to quality.

The opening, graced by no other than Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, was led by Tesoros Group chairman Alice Guerrero, president and CEO Beng Tesoro and board members Mita Gutierrez and Lulu Castañeda.

Guests were able to experience Pinoy dining as reimagined and enriched by Mabini’s.

Congratulations for a successful opening!

The Jewelmer Advocacy bracelet.

Pearls with a purpose

International luxury brand Jewelmer continues its mission to give back to the Filipino community with its Advocacy bracelet.

Last January, the brand pledged all of the proceeds of its Advocacy bracelet for the families affected by the Taal Volcano eruption. The proceeds, which amounted to P1.4 million, were turned over last February to the Aboitiz Foundation. The funds will sustain the recovery and livelihood projects for the communities displaced by the disaster.

Kudos to Jewelmer for this philanthropic initiative!
