China’s fashion icon visits Manila

China’s fashion icon and “power businesswoman” Yue-Sai Kan, once named by People magazine as “the most famous woman in China,” recently dined at Dusit Thani Manila’s Tosca restaurant in the elegant company of an intimate group of personalities. Conversations were both cordial and amusing over cocktails and a sit-down dinner of delicious, authentic Italian cooking.

The ageless Yue-Sai Kan, who is an Emmy Award-winning TV host and producer, successful cosmetics entrepreneur and author of best-selling books on beauty, etiquette, health and success, clearly enjoyed her dinner companions, among them, Ambassador Jesus “Chuching” Tambunting and wife Marge, Villa Medica International founder and CEO Bobby Kittichaiwong and statuesque wife Betty, Villa Medica Philippines country director Suzette Lopez and EMotors Inc. president Beth Lee.

For this memorable dinner, we thank Dusit Thani Manila’s general manager Bruno Cristol, executive assistant manager for F&B Chris Orta and director of communications Shariza Relova for seeing to it the success of the dinner!
