A night of fashion, beauty and glamour it was last Sept. 29 as PeopleAsia magazine held its annual “Women of Style and Substance” at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza. Now on its ninth year, the successful event awarded noteworthy women from various industries for their achievements and contributions to society.

Style reigns as the pastel-perfect themed celebration dressed both awardees and guests in a variety of sorbet- and candy-colored hues. A parade of beautiful gowns and dresses glided through the ballroom in a showcase of chicness in elegance.

From simple to intricate, the long and short of it and subtle to bold, fashion in extremes was ultimately in the spotlight.  Alluring silhouettes and captivating forms walked the red carpet in creations by foreign RTW brands and notable Filipino designers. Though many are called stylish, only a few are chosen standouts. Multiple Choice handpicks its list of best dressed.
