List: Class suspensions for August 22

MANILA, Philippines — Several schools and local government units announced class suspensions today due to the heavy rains brought by Tropical Storm Isang.

The tropical storm which is expected to bring monsoon rains until Wednesday is expected to exit the Philippine area of responsibility by afternoon today, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

The National Collegiate Athletic Association also postponed games scheduled today due to the inclement weather.
