Diesel prices cut today

MANILA, Philippines - Diesel prices go down today, a week after petroleum companies implemented a big-time price hike.

No price adjustments will be made on gasoline and kerosene.

Flying V has set a price cut of 25 centavos per liter on diesel, which takes effect at 12:01 a.m.

In a separate text advisory, Eastern Petroleum Corp. implemented a reduction of 25 centavos per liter on diesel starting 12:01 a.m.

Meanwhile, UniOil Petroleum Philippines Inc. also implemented the same price cut on diesel effective 6:01 a.m.

Petron Corp., Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp., Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, PTT Philippines and SeaOil Philippines Inc. have yet to make their respective announcement as of press time but they are expected to implement similar price adjustments.
