MANILA, Philippines — Several local government units declared class suspensions on Wednesday as monsoon rains continue to affect Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

State weather bureau PAGASA issued an orange warning level  over ?Bataan?, ?Cavite? and ?Batangas? which means flooding is threatening in low-lying areas and near river channels.

A yellow warning level, meanwhile, was raised over ?Metro Manila?, ?Pampanga?, ??Bulacan?, ??Zambales?, ?Rizal? and Laguna which means flooding is possible.
