MANILA, Philippines - The country is likely to remain storm-free in the next three days, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Sunday.

PAGASA weather forecaster Aldczar Aurelio said the weather bureau has not monitored any weather disturbance near the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) which may develop into a tropical cyclone until Wednesday.

Except for northern Luzon which is affected by the presence of the northeast monsoon, fair weather is expected to prevail in most parts of the country.

PAGASA also issued a gale warning due to strong gale force wind as the sea condition will be rough to very rough and is expected to affect the northern, eastern and western seaboards of Luzon.

”Fishing boats and other small seacrafts are advised not to venture out into the sea while larger sea vessels are alerted against big waves,” it said.
