MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Airlines on Saturday canceled two of its international flights and two domestic flights due to bad weather.
The Ninoy Aquino International Airport Media Affairs Division said the cancelled were flights PR-894 Manila to Taipei with scheduled departure at 9:20 a.m., and its return flight PR 895 which is expected to arrive Manila at 2:50 p.m.
Also cancelled were PAL Express flights 2P-916 Manila to Laoag which should have departed 6:55 a.m., and 2P-917 Laoag to Manila with scheduled arrival of 9:25 a.m.
The flights were cancelled due to the bad weather caused by super typhoon "Odette" which is pounding the northern provinces in Luzon with very strong winds.
