MANILA, Philippines (Xinhua) - President Benigno Aquino III will be leaving for Myanmar Friday to attend the 22th World Economic Forum (WEF) on East Asia.
Aquino said in today's briefing that he will meet up with Myanmar President Thein Sein and opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi during the forum.
He also plans to invite WEF participants to attend next year's regional economic forum to be held in Manila.
