President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. greets members of Iglesia ni Cristo commemorating their 109th anniversary today.
"Nawa'y kayo'y pagpalait pa at gabayan ng Maykapal upang patuloy na magsilbing inspirasyon sa marami pang indibidwal sa ating bayan at sa iba pang bahagi ng mundo," the president's message read.
Iglesia Ni Cristo backed Marcos' presidential bid in 2022.

The charity event is in line with the religious group's "Worldwide Aid to Fight Poverty" initiative.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority earlier announced road closures ahead of the event. Some roads are closed from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Iglesia Ni Cristo reportedly bags new Guinness world record for Largest Human Sentence, according to Eagle Broadcasting Corp.
The broadcast firm said this was confirmed by Guinness adjudicator Paula Sapinska.

At least 23,235 members participated to form the phrase "Proud to be a member of Iglesia ni Cristo."
This largest human sentence formation was held during the Worldwide Walk to Fight Poverty at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila.
The Iglesia ni Cristo has advised motorists of heavy traffic along the North Luzon Expressway due to an evangelical event at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan. NLEX management has dispatched additional personnel and has designated a special accelerator lane to help manage traffic.
