Albie Casiño leads cast of 4th 'Scorpio Nights' movie

MANILA, Philippines — Bobby Bonifacio, Jr. helms a new chapter of among the most talked-about Filipino erotic franchises in "Scorpio Nights 4."
This new installment follows a new generation of characters — played by Apphle Celso, Albie Casiño, Sahara Bernales, and Marco Mora — caught in Manila's gritty, dangerous world of secrets.
Mora plays a young man named Marlo from the countryside who moves to Manila and rents a room in Baseco owned by a couple portrayed by Bernales and Casiño.
One night, Marlo discovers a small hole in the floor of his room, giving him an unexpected glimpse into the private lives unfolding downstairs.
Marlo witnesses a secret encounter between Casiño's Kenzo and Celso's camgirl Nila, all while Bernales' Amor is peeping at him and later begin an affair of their own.

The four characters' lives become intensely intertwined as twisted lies, secret affairs, and unspoken tensions pull them deeper into temptation and deception.
The original "Scorpio Nights" from 1985 was directed by Peque Gallaga, who passed away in 2020, and while controversial is considered to have a pivotal place among Filipino films.
A sequel was made in 1999 starring Albert Martinez and Joyce Jimenez, with Erik Matti making his directorial debut while Gallaga helped in the story and supervised production.
Two years after Gallaga's death, a third movie directed by Lawrence Fajardo was made but went straight to streaming.
"Scorpio Nights 4" premieres on the streaming platform VMX on March 31.
