Dave Bautista hails fellow Fil-Am, 'Wrecking Crew' co-star Jacob Batalon
LONDON, United Kingdom — Action stars Dave Bautista and Jason Momoa have nothing but praises for their "The Wrecking Crew" co-star Jacob Batalon.
The film stars Bautista and Momoa as estranged half-brothers who begrudgingly work together to uncover crimes linked to their late father Walter.
Batalon — a Filipino-American like Bautista — plays Pika, a young Hawaiian employed by Walter to do odd jobs and later tags along with the Hale brothers.
In an exclusive interview with Philstar.com, Bautista and Momoa talked about their experience working with Batalon, whose character is responsible for a majority of the movie's excessive profanity.

"I love him, man, I met him years and years ago and fell in love with him instantly because he's got such a contagious personality," Bautista said, calling Batalon funny, witty, and such foul language.
The two Filipino-Americans also play characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Batalon portrays Ned Leeds, best friend of Peter Parker, while Bautista played Drax the Destroyer.
Momoa, meanwhile, pointed out shooting "The Wrecking Crew" in Hawai'i, where he and Batalon were born, was like a homecoming as it was Batalon's first time working in Hawai'i.
"He's wonderful, man, so easy and keeps you on your toes, it's fun," Momoa also told Philstar.com.
