Magic Men Australia presents a unique and unforgettable live performance experience to its usual female followers on March 16 and 17 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Newport World Resorts. The dance group’s Manila showcase will kick-start its world tour. The Aussie hunk performers create a fun atmosphere for everybody to enjoy.

MANILA, Philippines — Dance is their creative expression to delight the audience. They are personable, good-looking lads who will bring their own brand of entertainment to Manila on March 16 and 17 at 8 p.m. The venue is the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Newport World Resorts.

Their dance routines, composed of body rolls, hip grinding and thrusting, lap dancing, and floorwork, will titillate the imagination of their usual female followers. They do all this with their irresistible charm and without making one feel uncomfortable.

Their collective name is Magic Men Australia, which reminds one of the comedy-drama movie “Magic Mike.” Although March is associated with summer with its scorching heat, at least figuratively, attendees will experience what The Weather Girls song says, “It’s raining men.” It also happens the tune’s hook and title.

The dance group from the Land Down Under, represented by select members, recently met local media outlets via a digital conference. The Magic Men showcase in Manila is produced by Trifecta Brand Lab and features 10 of its performers.

“We want to bring such an amazing ladies’ night to the world. We’re inclusive of everybody,” said Will Parfitt. “We just want to create a fun atmosphere for everybody to come and enjoy an amazing night out.”

The show will kick-start its world tour, which, according to Carlos Fang, is “12 years in the making.”

“You can expect a lot of screaming women, a lot of dancing, and a lot of partying,” added he.

Asked what the Magic Men is all about, Jeffrey Cornelius answered, “It’s always about making women happy. The main goal is to make everyone have a good time. We make sure the guys are welcoming.”

And oftentimes, they would get such a compliment that they went beyond expectations.

All the Australian hunks showcase their knack for dancing.

“You know we’ve got different dance styles. We’ve got hip-hop dancers. We’ve got jazz dancers. We’ve got a very like different mix. We’ve got acrobats,” said Nic Murray. “I think each individual in Magic Men brings something different to the show. I think each person brings his own quality and we all match together to make this very unique special show.”

For instance, Carlo Powell is a professional dancer with a solid dance background.

“I trained in all styles. I trained in jazz, ballet, and tap, but my main foundation comes from hip-hop dancing, so I used to do a lot like of freestyle. I think everyone brings something fresh and something different to the show. That’s what makes the Magic Men show so amazing,” said he.

These men are top-quality bloke (guys) and very welcoming, as Nic shared some of their characteristics. They also look after the audience.

Do they consider their kind of dance an art form or artistic? Will said, “I’d definitely think it would be considered an artform. I think entertaining in general is an art form. What we do as Magic Men is more than just performing, more than just (doing a) choreography for the show. We’re trying to get the entire crowd involved in the show as well. It definitely takes a lot of high (full) energy.”

That challenge, show after show, as well as the creation and execution of the dance, speak of their creativity, as one could gather from following Carlos’ line of thinking. “We’re finding ways to involve the audience, which is the live performance, and we’re making it in a way that is creative,” added he.

For Jeffrey, adding more performance style and creative elements to what they do makes their dance into an art. Part of the presentation is what he described as “the heat-of-the-moment element” that women experience on stage. So, there’s an immersive aspect to it.

“You’re not just watching the show, you’re actually in it,” said Ceazr Smith. “We get a minimum of 45 to 50 women on stage at any one time. We spend time with women.”

Becoming the Magic Men personas requires preparation.

“We do spend a lot of time in rehearsal every week. The beauty about Magic Men is we’ve got Magic Men in every state of Australia. We perform week (after week) in every single state. We have group chats, and we all get together in our group chats. We send our choreography to each other. We run through each other’s routine,” said Ceazr, adding that they also learn the choreography in their own time.

With that, they are on their toes to present a unique and unforgettable experience to the audience.
