ALLTV’s Negosyo Goals returns with Anna Magkawas as host

The second season of ALLTV’s Negosyo Goals has returned with Anna Magkawas as its new host. The content creator and social media personality is also the chief executive officer of a health beauty wellness company.

Anna said in a media conference that they already finished filming three episodes for the show. “We would visit the business owners and their businesses,” she shared. “Mas nilalapit natin yung sarili natin sa kanila on how they can achieve or grow or start their businesses. We want to impart to our viewers that they can set up various kinds of businesses and also to get inspiration from them.”

As per media release, the new host will guide viewers through the inspiring stories of Filipino entrepreneurs, sharing their triumphs, challenges and lessons learned.

Negosyo Goals “aims to inspire and empower Filipino entrepreneurs by showcasing their stories of resilience and success. Through compelling storytelling, the show fosters a culture of entrepreneurship, instills hope, and encourages viewers to pursue their business goals.”

The show debuted in March last year.

Ivy Ataya, the person behind Maker’s Mind Media Production, stated that the vision and mission of Negosyo Goals is to help struggling business owners.

“That’s what we want to achieve from our audience when I created the concept. We want them to see that Negosyo Goals can be a platform to aid viewers who want to start up a business and also to give them work and (produce) livelihood (for them).”

The ALLTV segment likewise welcomes local celebrities who would like to promote their business through the show. “Maybe we can use their voices or their influence to support struggling entrepreneurs,” said Ivy.

Anna added, “Of course, (we are open to have celebrities in the show if) they are willing. I would like that because somehow I want to maintain a long-term relationship with my endorsers as well. So, why not? I could also promote their business.”

She further highlighted how celebrity endorsers can be a huge advantage when it comes to promoting a brand. “They have their respective reach or target market. My goal, since my business is new and hindi pa siya totally nakikilala, is (to) create awareness so that every Filipino would know that there exists Luxe Skin (products).”

She mentioned Sarah Lahbati, Aubrey Miles, Alexa Ilacad and vloggers Zeinab Harake and Viy Cortez, among others, who contributed to the marketing of her brand.

Meanwhile, when asked on how she handles brand bashing on social media, Anna shared, “I sometimes answer to the bashers (and) critics but in a nice way. So, I made sure that I don’t answer them in a negative way. I turned it into a positive way and of course, I take them as constructive criticism as well.”

“So when they say something about the product, then I analyze, ‘What made them say that?’ But when there’s something wrong with the comment, I answer it in a nice way in which I can explain why the product is like this or why did (that person) comment like that,” she added.

Anna’s piece of advice to new business owners is to not get easily affected by the negative comments. She acknowledged, “Especially when they enter the world of online selling (and) e-commerce, they cannot really please all the people. Some people will say anything about you even if you have good products (and) advocacies.”

“But ‘wag tayong magpa-apekto dun for as long as we know to ourselves that we are not doing anything wrong and we know that we have good products. Then, let’s accept it and embrace it. Lord knows it, kung ano yung nasa puso natin.”
