Edward Barber doesn't want to see Maymay Entrata as another man's girlfriend

MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya love team Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber or MayWard revealed the real score between them. 

Speaking with the media during the recent press conference of their upcoming concert “M.E. & U,” MayWard cleared speculations that they are now in a relationship.  

“Hindi pa po. Siguro mas focus ako sa pamilya ko muna. Pero nandiyan lang naman po si Dodong e. Naging bahagi na siya ng buhay ko na parang ayoko na rin siyang mawala pero ayaw ko siya na mawala at half don may freedom din siya kung ano man ang gusto niyang gawin,” Maymay said.  

For his part, Edward said he is willing to wait for the right time to be with Maymay officially, so he does not want to rush things between them. 

“Yeah. When you wanna grow up really quickly, I am one of that na gusto kong maging adult, I wanna move out, I wanna do things by myself, I tried to rush my whole life and I got to the point I got what I asked for and I wasn’t ready,” Edward shared. 

“I’m taking my time in everything I do with Maymay so ayoko talagang mag-rush, ayoko ng may pressure na maging love team na real when it's not, so whatever is happening, happy lang kami sa kung anong meron kami,” he added. 

Edward stressed that Maymay is a girlfriend material and he does not want to see her being the girlfriend of another man. 

“She's a very girlfriend material to the point na ayoko siyang makita as the girlfriend of another,” Edward said. 

Maymay and Edward are set to hold their first major concert together this September 27 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
