Kathryn Bernardo shares her ‘three words to forever’ for Daniel Padilla

MANILA, Philippines — Kathryn Bernardo may be on cloud nine in her relationship with reel and real-life partner Daniel Padilla. 

But the Kapamilya star thinks it is still too early for her to tie the knot.

Her co-stars in her new movie, “Three Words to Forever,” Sharon Cuneta and Richard Gomez, (who are teaming up again for the Star Cinema film) agreed with Kathryn on why one must think many times before taking the plunge.

"Getting married when they're not ready is unfair for the two people involved," Kathryn explained during the movie’s recent press con. 

She cited three ingredients that must be there before anyone considers marriage.

The first, she said, involves seeing the person in one's life forever.

The second is related to the first. Kathryn said it is when one cannot see a future without one's significant other.

The third important ingredient for Kathryn is mutual respect.

"When you feel these, then go!" she urged.

For now, she cannot help but sing praises for boyfriend Daniel Padilla. 

Since "Three Words to Forever" is her first film without Daniel, Kathryn admitted she had to make big adjustments. For one, shooting was in faraway Ormoc City (where Richard is the mayor).

Daniel helped her adjust by talking to the people on the set. He also made a surprise visit.

The minute Kathryn saw her boyfriend, the overjoyed Kathryn let out a gleeful shout.

"I felt recharged!" she shared.

For the actress, Daniel (DJ to Kathryn, his family and friends) is not just a boyfriend.

"He's a friend in every way,” she said.

That is why if she has three words to say to Daniel besides "I love you," it would be "I am happy."

Fans who were present at the press con roared their approval.

"Three Words to Forever" opens Wednesday, November 28, in cinemas nationwide.
