MANILA, Philippines — The boys of BTS just added another trophy in their growing list of awards, as they brought home the top prize (Daesang) at the recently held Seoul Music Awards.
BTS or Bangtan Syeonyondan or Bullet the Scene group is capping off the first month of the year with two more Daesangs under the name.
Earlier this month, the seven-piece group took home the grand prize at the Golden Disc Awards.
The BTS bagged the artist of the year award from the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) and song of the year award from Melon Music Awards (MMA) in December last year.
Meanwhile, Soompi reported that IU took home the record of the year award with her song "Palette," which she recorded with BIGBANG leader G-Dragon.
Yoon Jong-Shin's "Like It" was awarded as Song of the Year. The Best New Artist award went to Wanna One, Chungha and Pristine.
Nine-member boy group EXO bagged the Hallyu special award.

The Bangtan boys—R.M. (a.k.a. Rap Monster), Jin, Suga, Jungkook, V, J-Hope and Jimin—utterly pleased with their newest Daesang, granted the fans with several selcas with their new trophy at their twitter account, @BTS_twt.
