The first Miss Nature Intercontinental

MANILA, Philippines — Philippine bet Sarah Christine Reyes Bona (center) was crowned as the first-ever Miss Nature Intercontinental in Poland recently. She won $5,000 cash prize.

Bona’s runners-up were Miss Slovakia Júlia Kokoru?ová (left) and Miss Bulgaria Miglena Nikolova (photo). Other finalists were Taelyr Robinson of USA, Anna Tarnowska of Poland and Aliaksandra Sokal of Belarus.

Sarah, 26, hails from Iriga City, Camarines Sur. She’s a certified caregiver, licensed midwife, registered nurse and a business woman rolled-into-one. She was Binibini number 34 in the 2016 Bb. Pilipinas pageant, crowned as 2017 Santiata ti Ylocos Environment and was a Top 5 finalist in the 2017 Miss ASEAN Friendship in Thailand.

Organized by 2001 Miss International and 2000 Model of the World Ma?gorzata Ro?niecka of Poland, the Miss Nature Intercontinental is an international beauty contest combined with projects related to nature conservation, environmental education, information on global industry development and its environmental impact and promoting healthy lifestyles for both children and adults. The main goal of the project is to promote healthy living, ecology and ecological awareness.
