Piolo Pascual confirms ‘Written in Our Stars’ on hold

MANILA, Philippines – The ABS-CBN TV series “Written in Our Stars” is now on hold.

This was confirmed by Piolo Pascual in an interview on Tuesday at the pictorial for his upcoming film “Love Me Tomorrow,” with Dawn Zulueta and Coleen Garcia.

“For now, yes,” he replied when asked if the show is on hold due to co-star Toni Gonzaga’s pregnancy.

“We’re not sure what’s gonna happen” he added. “We have to respect Tin (short for Toni's real name, Celestine) kasi hindi naman natin puwede pigilan ‘yon. But we’re just here, hintay lang tayo.”

It was in Sunday when Toni Gonzaga confirmed her pregnancy in the noontime variety show “ASAP.”

The Kapamilya actor said he was not able to talk to Toni about her pregnancy, but assured her that “I’ll always support Tin, she’s a good friend. We have to give her time kasi first baby din naman.”

“The work can wait, pero ang life ng pamilya [is a] priority,” he added.

For now, Piolo is focused on his upcoming film “Love Me Tomorrow” where he portrayed the character of a club DJ.

Since the film’s stars came from different generations, Piolo said the viewers could see “different point of views, different perspectives, kaya isa-isa do’n sigurado ko makikita mo ang pinagdadanan mo.”

The film, directed by Gino Santos, is slated to be released in cinemas this May.
