Guinness: #AlDubEBTamangPanahon among Twitter’s 'record-breakers'
MANILA, Philippines – The love team of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, popularly known as AlDub, was cited by Guinness World Records.
In lieu of Twitter’s tenth year celebration, Guinness released an article naming the media platform’s “record-breakers."
AlDub’s “Tamang Panahon” event hashtag “AlDUbEBTamangPanahon” was named as the most used hashtag in 24 hours. The event happened October 24, 2015 at the Philippine Arena.

Meanwhile, the record for most tweets per minute was set made Germany's victory over Argentina during the 2014 World Cup.
Some of the other Twitter record-breakers are Caitlyn Jenner who was named as “fastest ever time to reach one million followers,” and Ellen DeGeneres’ Oscars selfie which was named as “most retweeted message” in Twitter.
