IN PHOTOS: Binibining Pilipinas 2016 official candidates
MANILA, Philippines — It is on.
Binibining Pilipinas has just released the official portraits of the 40 candidates for its 2016 pageant, to be held on April 17 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
The 40 candidates will compete to represent the country in international beauty pageants later this year: Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss Supranational, Miss Intercontinental and Miss Grand International.

Among the candidates who joined the Bb. Pilipinas pageant this year include contestants who have joined past editions of the contest, including 2015's Kylie Versoza and 2014's Nichole Manalo.
This year's winner of the Miss Universe Philippines title will have the daunting task of trying to succeed reigning Miss Universe, Filipina beauty queen Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.
