More revelations in Destiny Rose

MANILA, Philippines – The GMA 7 top-rating Destiny Rose is nearing its end and lead stars Ken Chan, Katrina Halili and Fabio Ide have mixed emotions over the afternoon soap’s finale episode to be aired sometime this month.

“I will surely miss everyone, including the staff and crew, even my character Destiny Rose Flores. It’s so overwhelming. I’m very happy at nagustuhan nila ako bilang si Destiny Rose. Yung iba nga hindi nila alam na straight guy talaga ako. Kahit hindi ako gay I want it to be real, kahit sa diet ingat ako para maging slim ang built ko,” said Ken.

In Destiny Rose, Katrina plays Jasmine, the “scheming” cousin of Destiny. Ken credits the actress for helping him maintain a sexy figure and making him feel comfortable wearing ladies’ clothes.

Meanwhile, Fabio, who plays Destiny’s love interest Gabriele, mentioned that he will definitely miss the Destiny Rose team. “Medyo malungkot, pero understandable naman. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget. I’m happy for the success of the show, and also for being part of the show na we’re educating people, showing the different side of the LGBT community to the viewers.”

Other members of the cast are Manilyn Reynes, Jackielou Blanco, Sheena Halili, Joko Diaz, Irma Adlawan, Melissa Mendez, Jeric Gonzales, JC Tiuseco and Michael de Mesa.

Expect more revelations as Destiny Rose, Gabriele and Jasmine are about to face the biggest decisions they will ever make.
