Since its pilot episode, Kapuso primetime series Marimar continues to capture the hearts of the viewers.
Aside from the team-up of Tom Rodriguez and Megan Young, Marimar also features a roster of A-list actors, one of them Alice Dixson who portrays Mia Aldama, the biological mother of Marimar, who becomes determined in life after having a whirlwind romance with Gustavo (Zoren Legaspi).
After being revealed that Marimar is the daughter of Gustavo, she gets the chance to pursue her dream of finishing her studies. Brenda (Ina Raymundo) even offered her to study in France.
“I love the role,” said Alice who is not new to doing soaps (before Marimar, she was in the cast of TV5’s Babaing Hampaslupa). “I cut short my stay in Canada and made a comeback via a soap.”
Directed by Dominic Zapata, Marimar airs weeknights after 24 Oras on GMA Telebabad.
