WATCH: Pinay group wows judges, audience in ‘X Factor UK’

MANILA, Philippines – Pinay group 4th Power impressed judges Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw during their audition in the 12th season of British reality show “X Factor UK.” 

The group who joined the 19-27 years old group category flew all the way from the Philippines to audition in the talent show.

4th Power is composed of sisters Mylene, Irene, Almira, Celina who started performing together since 2001. Celina said it has always been their dream to perform in front of Cowell.

They performed the song “Bang, Bang,” a song originally performed by Jessie J.

 

 

The group impressed not only the audience but the judges as well, who gave the four sisters a standing ovation.

After the performance, Cowell described their audition as “one of the best I’ve ever seen.”

As the three other judges gave them a “yes,” Cowell said that “4th Power, you have the biggest four yeses we’ve ever given.” ited.

This is not the first time that Filipino talents made waves abroad in a talent show. Rose Fontanes was the “X Factor Israel” winner in 2014, while “El Gamma Penumbra” was the grand winner of “Asia’s Got Talent” season one.
