MANILA, Philippines – Zanjoe Marudo shows support for girlfriend Bea Alonzo by attending the premiere night of her movie "The Love Affair" at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City on Tuesday.
Unlike the movie's stars and premiere night guests, the Kapamilya actor did not walk the red carpet during the event; instead, Zanjoe quietly passed through the back of the event’s main stage.
Nonetheless, he gamely gave a short message for Bea. “Congratulations! Alam kong magaling na magaling ka sa pelikulang ‘to,” Zanjoe said. He then proceeded inside the cinema to watch the movie. However, Zanjoe immediately left after the screening and did not join the cast party with Bea.
Last month, Zanjoe denied the reported split between him and Bea. “Hindi kami matitibag kung mahal namin ang isa’t isa,” he said in a TV interview last month.

“The Love Affair,” which also stars Dawn Zulueta and Richard Gomez, opens in cinemas today.
