PVL Buffet Center opens

MANILA, Philippines - PVL Buffet Center, located at the second level of Metro Shaw Mall (along Shaw Blvd., Mandaluyong City), was inaugurated last Jan. 30 with (from left) mall owner Tony Yap, former COMELEC chairman Benjamin Abalos, Susan Roces and Mandaluyong City First Lady Menchie Abalos doing the ribbon-cutting honors. PVL is owned by Norma Lim, a Papal awardee who is a good friend of Susan’s (inset) and one of the pioneers of the annual Christmas lights decors on Policarpio Street.
