Patricia back for good

After a brief visit in July, Patricia Javier came back in November also last year, this time for a longer stay, together with her husband, Dr. Robert “Rob” Walcher III, and their sons Rob IV, 11, and Ryan James (RJ), 3. During her last visit, she signed a three-year contract with Viva and that means Patricia will have to drop Genesis, her real name which she used as professional name when the family was in San Diego, California.

“It is to avoid confusion,” said Patricia, “after all people here know me as Patricia Javier and I think only very few people know me as Genesis.”

As Genesis, Patricia performed for a while with an all-female group called Asian Dolls (obviously inspired by Pussycat Dolls with a Filipino member, Nicole Scherzinger) and worked as a deejay, aside from holding regular non-showbiz jobs (one of them at a beauty spa).

Before she left for the US years ago, Patricia starred in Viva sex-dramas, one of them Ang Kabit ni Mrs. Montero. Viva’s plan is to cast her in a soap.

“It’s like starting all over again,” admitted Patricia.

Rob himself has recently signed a contract with Viva for possible endorsements. The other day, the couple met with an A-list brand which is interested in hiring them as image models.

Being health buffs, Patricia and Rob are perfect for fitness-oriented magazines like Men’s Health.

Last Sunday, a group of Patricia’s writer-friends had lunch with the Walchers at Azure (which was inaugurated three years ago with Paris Hilton no less as special guest). Rob treated the writers who said they felt relieved of muscle aches and pains. Rob might put up a clinic here.

While waiting for projects, Patricia and Rob have been kept busy with their Wellness & Beauty Mission (chiropractic session) which has so far visited several places including Antipolo and San Mateo in Rizal; Pasay City; Laguna; Quezon City; Manila; Batangas; and Marikina City. Incidentally, Patricia and Rob reunited with Marc Nelson, Patricia’s ex who remains her good friend who keeps a cute turtle, a gift from Patricia, at a jar in his new home in Pasig City.

“Marc and Rob are BFF,” said Patricia. “Magkumpare sila. Marc is the ninong of our two sons.”
