Grand fans day for Kathryn

MANILA, Philippines - Kathryn Bernardo (photo) held a grand fans day last Nov. 23 at the SM North EDSA Sky Dome. The event became the fourth worldwide trending topic and ranked third in the Philippine setting, with 41,000 tweets.  

At least 1,400 people flocked to the venue at the same time viewers were glued to their TV sets for the Manny Pacquiao-Chris Algieri boxing match.

Their idol was all smiles, greeting the fans, performing two songs and giving away trendy Ruffles bags to lucky recipients. The event was the culminating event of the Ruffles Bags promo — where shoppers got free admission tickets to the grand fans day for every minimum P600 purchase of the product. The event’s success has inspired Ruffles Bags to plan more activities for its endorser Kathryn and her fans.
