In The Blood, round two

MANILA, Philippines - Get ready for a night of music and entertainment with OPM’s Alejandro family — Hajji, Niño, Ali, Eddie and Rachel — in the second run of their concert series In The Blood on Nov. 29, Saturday, at the Music Museum.

Of course, who doesn’t know OPM icons Hajji and Rachel, but now it’s time to also catch Niño, a lesser-known member Alejandro who grabbed the headlines last week after wowing all four of The Voice Of The Philippines judges and securing a spot with Team Lea. His performance went viral and gained him online fans who will surely continue to support him during the competition. Lougee Basabas, the girlfriend of Ali, Hajji’s son with the late Rio Diaz and also in the running for The Voice, is likewise a part of the show.

Rachel came up with the In The Blood concept to celebrate her 25 years in show business by going back to her roots: Performing with her family. Rachel often sings with her dad in gigs but this is the first time they are joined by Niño, painter and drummer Ali and Eddie, lead vocalist for the band Aspen Way.

There are plenty of surprises in the show to look forward to, among them are several medleys of classics and new hits, not to mention crowd favorites like Kay Tagal and Paalam Na.
