Piolo, Sarah to star in 2015 Valentine movie

MANILA, Philippines – It looks like Sarah Geronimo just found herself a new on-screen partner.

 

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Piolo Pascual revealed he will do a movie with Sarah, which is set for release in time for Valentine's Day next year.

 

The actor added he will start work on the movie after his ongoing drama series “Hawak Kamay” ends its run.

 

“Magsisimula na kami ng pelikula with Sarah for Valentine's kaya hindi ko alam kung paano ko magagawa magpahinga,” Piolo told the news website, adding he has long wanted to work with the singer-actress.

 

If the movie pushes through, it will be Piolo's follow-up to his highly successful film “Starting Over Again,” which also starred Toni Gonzaga. 

 

“Starting Over Again,” which opened on Feb. 12, 2014, has registered over P400 million in box offce, according to Box Office Mojo.

 

Sarah, meanwhile, starred in this year's “Maybe This Time” with Coco Martin. She has been named the Box Office Queen at the Box Office Entertainment Awards of the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation for the 2013 romantic-comedy movie “It Takes a Man and a Woman.”
