P13M at stake at Casino Filipino’s Bingo Shower

MANILA, Philippines - Bingo enthusiasts can look forward to an exciting luck-filled weekend come Sept. 14 when Casino Filipino gives away a total of P13M in cash prizes during the nationwide Bingo Shower of Millions event.

The Bingo Shower of Millions, one of the most anticipated bingo festivals in the country, will feature Arnel Ignacio (photo) as guest performer.

Arnel said, “It is always fun to perform for the audience of Casino Filipino. The people who come to these shows are always ready for some laughs and entertainment.”

Arnel is currently involved in other projects such as the PETA musical Rak of Aegis, TV5’s Trenderas and a TFC-produced game show to be aired in the Middle East.

Bong Quintana, AVP of PAGCOR’s Entertainment and Bingo Department, said that the Bingo Shower of Millions infuses more fun and excitement in the conduct of the traditional bingo game.

The goal of the event, Quintana added, is to provide the best gaming experience for bingo players. “We are introducing a ‘variety show-feel’ to our Bingo Shower of Millions event. Apart from winning huge cash prizes, our players will also be treated to entertaining performances by our PAGCOR artists.”

According to Quintana, the Bingo Shower of Millions also has a charitable component since a percentage of the ticket sales go to works of charitable organizations.

“Many of our players — especially those who buy tickets from our bingo agent recipients — know that when they play bingo in our casinos, they are also playing for charity. Kaya naman kami ay natutuwa na kahit papaano, hindi lang tayo nakakapag-bigay ng kasiyahan… tayo din ay nakakatulong sa mga nangangailangan,” Quintana said.

The ticket price for the Bingo Shower of Millions is P3,000 each. Four bingo cards will be given to each player with each card good for 10 games.

The bingo event will be simultaneously held at participating CF branches and satellites via video-link technology. Included in the participating branches are the casino venues in Hyatt, Tagaytay, Angeles, Olongapo, Bacolod, Cebu, Davao, Laoag, Limketkai-CDO, Gaisano Gen-San, Malabon Grand, Ronquillo and Casino Filipino-Pavilion as host venue.
