Manila Rotary’s banca project for Leyte

MANILA, Philippines - Manila Rotary, first in Asia, headed by Rudy Bediones and Congresswoman (Fourth District, Southern Leyte) Lucy Torres-Gomez met with Manila Rotarians recently at the Manila Polo Club to discuss a rehabilitation project to partly provide motorized bancas for the 6,200 fishermen whose livelihood occupation was affected by Supertyphoon Yolanda.
