Wanderlust Album bags 3 Awit awards

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine music industry recently held its 26th Awit Awards at the Sequoia Hotel.

Wanderlust Album, with Tria Bascon as executive producer and Moy Ortiz as album producer, won in three of the six categories in which it was nominated — Best Collaboration for With A Little Help From My Friends with The CompanY; Best Musical Arrangement (With A Little Help From My Friends arranged by JD Villanueva); and Best Vocal Arrangement (With A Little Help from My Friends arranged by Moy).

Tria was delighted with the awards and she thanked the production team of Wanderlust.

The album was also nominated for Song of the Year (Magkikita Pa Rin Naman Tayo composed by Moy); Best Engineered Recording (I’m Old Fashioned by Dominic Benedicto at Asiatec Pink Noise Studio) and Music Video Of The Year (La Belle Vie, producers Tria, Moy, Chuck Gutierrez and Voyage Studios).

Wanderlust is Tria’s first album and the recognition has inspired her to continue with her desire of producing quality albums and working with the best musicians.

One of her main objectives in producing Wanderlust was to achieve a high-quality album that lives up to international standards and in doing so, promote, in her own small way, Filipino musicality in the international music arena. Extensive overseas travel and working engagements assist Tria in giving international exposure to the Wanderlust Album. It has been very well-received and enjoyed by foreign audiences wherever Tria has performed.

The album is available in music stores and on iTunes and CD Baby. Visit Tria’s webpage at www.triabascon.com
