The late ’60s and early ’70s saw the emergence of very sexy pictures, also referred to as bold and bomba.
Two of these skin flicks — circa 1971 — were Nagbabagang Landas and Querida Mia (My Dearest Darling).
The stars of Nagbabagang Landas are no longer around. But Yvonne managed to snag an Urian (Best Supporting Actress) for Ligaw na Bulaklak, directed by Ishmael Bernal and topbilled by Alma Moreno and Vic Silayan.
Querida Mia lead actor Eddie Garcia is still, of course, active in showbiz, winning awards here and abroad for Bwakaw. A tribute to Eddie’s durability, versatility and artistry.
