Wish Ko Lang searches for a Good Samaritan

MANILA, Philippines - Torrential rains are strongest this season. And once the tempest strikes, tragedies hit families left and right. In the height of the calamities, houses are torn down, homes are split apart and families separated.  

But what if the father gets separated from his family during the evacuation? And what if his child is in need of medical assistance?

This scenario served as an inspiration for GMA 7’s Wish Ko Lang to set off on a compelling mission to find the proverbial Good Samaritan. Aboard a truck in search for more victims to rescue, a father is unable to send the needed medicine to his sick child. He then asks random strangers to help him deliver the medicine. Will the padre de pamilya find a Good Samaritan?

Meanwhile, in the island of Dinagat in Surigao, a family is said to dwell in a cave. Mang Rogelio and his family — formerly living as househelps to a foreign boss — have been finding shelter in the cavern for three years, after their boss’ untimely demise. With no relatives in the island, they all had nowhere to go. What fate awaits this family whose lives are shrouded by darkness?
