Another Bagatsing joins showbiz

MANILA, Philippines - Introduced in Slumber Party was newcomer RK Bagatsing, the brother of Raymond Bagatsing. In the gender-bending movie directed by Emmanuel dela Cruz, RK plays a homosexual, with Markki Stroem, Archie Alemania and Sef Cadayona among his co-stars. RK was nominated for New Movie Actor of the Year by the 2013 PMPC Star Awards and for Breakthrough Performance by the 2013 Golden Screen Awards.

The Bagatsing brothers’ father, Boy Bagatsing, is a good singer. He’s also the producer of Warrior of the Rising Sun, RK’s second (first starring) picture.

RK started as a commercial model for, among others, BPI and Benadryl One. He has also acted in theater.
