Superhumans airs tonight on GMA News TV

MANILA, Philippines - Tonight at 8, enter the fascinating world of humans with extraordinary abilities when GMA News TV starts airing Stan Lee’s Superhumans.

Hosted by Stan Lee, founder of Marvel Comics and the legendary creator of some of the most popular comic book superheroes, and Daniel Browning-Smith, who has been dubbed as the world’s most flexible man, the incredible series goes in search of people with genuine, real-life super powers.

For its pilot episode, Daniel investigates four people, rumored to have amazing abilities. In India, he meets Rajmohan Nair, who claims to be immune to electrocution. While in the US, he finds Scott Flansburg, who can calculate complex arithmetic faster than anyone on the planet; Juan Ruiz, totally blind from birth, but apparently visualizes the world using the same form of sonar that bats and dolphins use; and Dennis Rogers, who claims to have super strength.

These superhumans undergo scientific testing that may help explain their astonishing gifts, and are then put to the ultimate test — to demonstrate what separates them from every other person on the planet.

Stan Lee’s Superhumans airs Fridays on GMA News TV Channel 11.
