Boracay Garden Resort's Awards Night

The Philippine Star

Manila, Philippines -  It was a night full of fun, laughter, friendship and partnership as Boracay Garden Resort gave thanks to its top travel agency producers and supporters through a dinner gathering held last month at the Ballroom of Diamond Hotel, Manila.

Henry Chusuey, chairman of the Boracay Regency Group (now called Henann Resorts), welcomed travel agency owners, airline executives and media partners to the festive occasion. Department of Tourism (DOT) officials led by Assistant Secretary Benito Bengson Jr. also graced the event.

Guests were treated to a sumptuous buffet dinner exclusively prepared for the special night where they were entertained by a hip live band and the ever alluring and hilarious event host Giselle Sanchez.

Upon arrival, everyone was ushered to the cocktail reception area which featured a photo gallery of Boracay Garden Resort’s improved facilities and amenities.

Chusuey mentioned in his welcome speech that Henann Resorts had spent P80M for Boracay Garden Resort’s improvements and renovation which include the new restaurant Garden Cafe, fitness and business centers; two swimming pools and gardens with natural stones imported from Bali, Indonesia; and refurbishment of the resort’s lobby and rooms. He said that investment will continue with the construction of 62 more rooms which will open in 2013. By then, the resort will have a total of 263 rooms with four big swimming pools.
