MANILA, Philippines - Laguna Board Member (Bokal) Angelica Jones is seven months pregnant, due to deliver in October in time for the filing of the certificates of candidacy for the 2013 mid-term election in which she’s running for reelection along with her boyfriend (a doctor at Asian Hospital) who is an incumbent councilor in a town in Batangas. Angelica said that their planned wedding in January 2013 hangs in the balance while she and her boyfriend are having differences after he left her in mid-air (‘Iniwan niya ako sa ere,’ as she put it). ‘I thought I’d never get pregnant,’ revealed Angelica, ‘because I had myoma and a cyst. It was Brother Mike Velarde who cured me with prayer and with Dragon Fruit.’
