MANILA, Philippines - When Nate Jacob turned a year old last April 10, his parents, Krista Ranillo and Niño Jefferson Lim, made sure that the Nascar-themed celebration held last Sunday, April 8, would be memorable.
The first name of the boy was derived from that of Gossip Girl character Nate Archibald (played by Chace Crawford) and Jacob was chosen so that the initials would be the same as those of Dad Niño.
The good news is that the couple is expecting their second child before end of the year.
Nate’s birthday (his parents are also April-born) was held at his parents’ new home in Valencia, California.
The invitation featured a smiling head shot of Nate above a cute red car and a “STOP” sign and a “Vroom, Vroom!!!” to remind “drivers” (guests) “to start your engine and shift into gear” for the affair.
