Aguilera, Seyfried in Tonight Show

-

MANILA, Philippines - Tonight, The Cranberries will perform on TALKtv’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The band’s hits include Zombie and Linger. The Irish rock band was formed way back in 1989 under the name The Cranberry Saw Us. The Cranberries temporarily parted ways from 2004 to 2008 as the members concentrated on their individual musical careers. In 2009, The Cranberries got back together and are currently touring the world.

Tomorrow, Feb. 16, Bill Maher will be dropping by in the show. Maher, an actor, stand-up comedian, political commentator, author and television host, currently has his own show titled Real Time with Bill Maher. He is also a co-producer and a co-writer in the show which is a weekly political comedy talk show.

Amanda Seyfried will get the chance to sit beside Leno on Feb. 17. The former child model finally broke through with the movie Mean Girls and she has garnered a steady stream of success since then. She landed her first starring role as Sophie Sheridan in Mamma Mia! where she starred alongside Meryl Streep. Seyfried is also slated to be on a remake of Les Miserables which is currently on pre-production.

On Feb. 18, Christina Aguilera is the featured guest. She is currently seen on TV as a mentor on The Voice alongside Cee-Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Christina has been on the wrong side of the news lately as she was involved in a couple of controversial song numbers but as she has proven in the past, nothing can hold her back.

The Tonight Show with Jay Leno airs Tuesdays to Saturdays at 12 noon via satellite with same day replays at 12 m.n. on TALKtv – Ch.16 on Sky Cable, Ch. 28 on Global Destiny, Ch. 21 on Cignal and Ch. 12 on Cable Link.
