MANILA, Philippines - Ronnie Liang can’t get over his excitement when US Ambassador Harry Thomas gave him a warm applause after he sang at a dinner party at the US Embassy last Dec. 28. The ambassador shouted, ‘Wonderful, wonderful!’ while clapping his hands, and even agreed to have his picture taken with Ronnie. Then he told Ronnie, ‘Congratulations! You are a good and wonderful singer. You should continue what you’re doing.’
