While Jaime de la Rosa was LVN’s ‘most reliable’ leading man in the ‘40s and ‘50s, he also had his share of title roles, among them Probinsyano opposite Evelyn Villar.
His other title roles included Aladin, Donato, Hukom Roldan, Kumander 13, Gitano, Virtuoso, Haring Solomon at Reyna Sheba (sharing the title roles with Mila del Sol).
In 1953, Premiere borrowed Jaime from LVN to play leading man to Edna Luna in Dyesebel.
Jaime is the younger brother of Rogelio and Africa de la Rosa. – RKC
