Idol Ko Si Direk in Life & Style

MANILA, Philippines - The special feature Idol Ko Si Direk   will be presented today from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on GMA News Channel 11’s celebrity talk show Life & Style With Gandang Ricky Reyes.

Host-producer Ricky Reyes will hold individual sit-down interviews with three of the country’s best directors. They are three-time FAMAS Best Director Maryo J. delos Reyes, exceptional storyteller and activist multi-awardee Joel Lamangan and Brillante Mendoza, the first Filipino to bag the Best Director plum at the Cannes International Festival.

Direk Maryo’s unforgettable movies are Bagets, Magnifico and A Love Story. Direk Joel’s award-winning pieces are Muling Umawit Ang Puso,The Flor Contemplacion Story, Bulaklak Ng Maynila, Aishite IMasu and Blue Moon. Direk Brillante won fame for Masahista,Kaleido, Pantasya, Kinatay and Lola.
