Winter Funland opens

MANILA, Philippines - Visitors of the all-new Winter Funland at the Star City will experience an ice skate ride at its 68-meter long and 20-meter wide snow slide at the speed of approximately 90 kilometers per hour. They will be riding on the new ice skates especially made for the Winter Funland.

On the ice floor, visitors will be allowed to play and frolic in the snow, where there will be a lot of snow to play with, and where visitors can make their own snowman or whatever figures they want to make out.

Upon arrival at the Winter Funland, they will be welcomed by a live Snowman, Snow Bob, and other ice mascots that just flew in from abroad.

Winter Funland introduces a new game, Bowling on Ice. The balls and pins are made of ice. You don’t only make the pins fall, the ice pins actually break when you hit a strike. New pins are made in a matter of minutes so there will be enough for everyone to play with.

Bowling on Ice is the latest ice attraction in the world today. It is the leading game in Japan, but in Manila, the latest attraction was just made part of the all-new and more exciting Winter Funland.

Winter Funland is now open at Star City on weekends. Daily operations start Sept. 15.
