MANILA, Philippines - They may have led separate lives, but former partners Dingdong Avanzado and Rachel Alejandro (photos) have remained friends and their partnership has evolved into a good working relationship that has caught the audiences’ support all over the world.

On Aug. 21, 9 p.m. at the Metrobar in West Avenue, Dingdong and Rachel will topbill their reunion concert called Even Now where they will perform their well-loved hits and collaborations like Much Longer and Paalam Na, and their individual hits like Dingdong’s Basta’t Kasama Kita, Maghihintay Sa ‘Yo, among others; and Rachel’s Nakapagtataka, and Let The Pain Remain. In this concert, Dingdong and Rachel will also perform their new hits from their albums Muli and Believe respectively.

“It is always fun working with Rachel,” says Dingdong. “We have a connection on stage that always translates to good performances.”

Rachel admits, “We are comfortable with each other as we speak and sing the same language. We love it when people say that we haven’t aged, that we still look and sound the same.”
